Answers to frequently asked questions about Earth2.io part 6 (FAQ 61-68)

Answers to frequently asked questions about Earth2.io part 6 (FAQ 61-68)

61. Are there any fees we will incur after purchasing the land?

There are no additional fees associated with the land ownership itself. However, it will be able to benefit from it in many ways. The costs may not emerge when we want to build something, but the details are not yet known.

62. Is it possible to sell the land without a buyer?

There is no immediate buyout option at the moment, but it cannot be ruled out that such an option will appear in the future.

63. Will it be possible to form the owned areas, eg by building a tunnel?

In the later stages of Earth2 deployment, users will likely be given this opportunity.

64. How do I list my property for sale and remove an listing from the Marketplace?

To put up for sale, all you need to do is display your portfolio in the profile. Then select "Edit / Sell", set your price for the entire property under "How much would you like to sell for?" and select "Advertise in Marketplace". If you want to delete a sale offer, you can, for example, filter only those posted by switching the filtering from "All owned" to "For sale", then "Edit / Sell" and uncheck "Advertise in Marketplace" there.

65. Is it possible to see a larger area of the map without losing the grid view?

Yes. To do this, change the size of the page magnification. On windows it can be done with Ctrl and "+" or "-" keyboard shortcut. You can also change the magnification in the browser options.

66. Why is it better not to wait to buy your plots?

Land prices are rising slowly day by day. As of 01/19/21 you can still buy a lot of land on the primary market, but sooner or later there will be no choice or everything will be sold out. Second-hand land purchase will certainly be much more expensive.

67. What should you watch out for?

We should be careful when shopping at the Marketplace. You should carefully check each offer because people cheat in at least two ways. The first is giving well-known names suggesting that we are buying a plot in an attractive location, and the second is false discounts. Some people raise the price of their property significantly and then lower it, so that we see huge discounts. However, it often turns out that we can buy a plot of land on the primary market next to it cheaper.
